Low Carbon confronts the causes of climate change. The company invests in an international portfolio of renewable energy assets with a combined clean energy capacity of more than 2.3GW. To date, the Low Carbon renewable energy investments generate sufficient clean energy to power more than 100,200 homes, saving in excess of 143,600 tonnes of CO2 each year.

Low Carbon’s core renewable energy technologies are:

•  Utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV)
•  Energy storage
•  Onshore wind
•  Combined heat and power
•  Anaerobic digestion (AD)
•  Concentrated solar power (CSP)

Low Carbon has funded, built and/or operated more than 320MW of UK solar alone, aligning with global demand for renewable energy and its investment opportunities. The company is involved in these projects for the long term. Its dedicated asset management team oversees more than 400MW on balance sheet and for third parties (unlisted and listed), while Low Carbon has invested substantially in two renewables players: Nur Energie (CSP) and Tamar Energy (AD).
